Our old blue 1982 Toyota Pickup

We bought our blue Toyota pickup new in 1982. We put 81,000 miles on the truck and regrettably sold it in 1996. As soon as we sold our ???old blue??? Toyota friend we knew we had made a big mistake. We never had any mechanical trouble, it was still in great shape and it ran perfect. After nine years separated from our truck we found our poor old Toyota abandoned in a back lot of a garage. Someone had left it there with no intention of ever coming back for it. Since it had only 105,200 miles on it we decided to rescue our old reliable blue truck. We bought it for a song and got it running, the original engine is still in great condition. We are in the process of having it all restored to as good as new. We should have never sold our truck; it has so much sentimental value to us. We bought it 4 months before we were married in 1982 and it really became part of the family. So now it is back home and we will keep it running and in good shape after the hard life it had without us for nine years. Our blue Toyota pickup was a great investment when we bought it in 1982 and remains a great vehicle, even after 23 years.
