A True Africa Beast

14 and a 1/2 years ago I bought my LOADED Toyota Land Cruiser. Little did I know that several months later it was to be tested of its African capabilities. In 1991, a terrible flood struck Brownsville, Texas. There was water higher than the engine hood of our new vehicle. As I ploughed through the waters and made my wake, I was always thinking when is the engine going to give out, or even scarier...when will the water finally get into the seals and drown us inside. Well, of course, the Cruiser wasn't thinking that I'm sure. It's made to push through the rivers of Africa. I truly learned the capabilities of the Land Cruiser that day. Now, I still have that beautiful bucket of bolts sitting in my driveway ready for some work, and at 155,000 miles, its life is just beginning.
