1994 Celica

My story starts off in August of 2004. My future wife and I were chatting about her Celica. It was 11 years old and still in very good condition, with only 113,000 miles.

She started talking about the airbags and if they still worked and the next car she gets will have a CD player.

Well that night after leaving my parents' house, we would find out if the the airbags still worked. Boy, did they! A lady in an SUV ran a stop sign, and my wife had nowhere to go. We hit her in between the front and rear doors. That little Celica gave up its life to save us.

So now my wife drives a Corolla S, with a 6-disc CD player.

I was so amazed how that Celica handled the crash and the amount she got from the insurance company.

After that, I traded in my Saturn for a 2005 Camry SE. So now we are a Toyota family. I have my SE, and she has her S. The odd thing is they are both the same color and both look the same, well one is larger.

I am now a Toyota fan. I will never go back to an American car. Thank you for your safety and reliablity.
