My Owner's Manuals

Q1: What are the different manuals I can search?
A1: Search the Owner's Manual to learn about general operating features and your vehicle's instruments and controls. You'll also find information on vehicle care and maintenance procedures.
The Navigation System Owner's Manual has instructions on basic operating functions of your navigation system. This includes destination search, route guidance, advanced navigation functions, and points of interest displays.
The Scheduled Maintenance Guide provides the factory-recommended maintenance for your vehicle based on mileage and year.
You can use the Search All Manuals selection from the drop-down menu if you aren't sure where to find the information you're looking for.
Q2: How do I use the search function?
A2: Select the vehicle you would like to find information on. If you only have one vehicle registered, the search function will automatically fill this in for you. Then, select which manual you would like to search from the drop-down menu. If you aren't sure, select Search All Manuals. Next, type in the keywords you are looking for. Remember to keep your search simple and avoid special characters (@, &, *,$, !, etc.). Finally, select the type of search you would like, either Any of These Words or Phrase, and click the SEARCH button. Your results will be returned to you as links to PDFs.
Q3: What is my VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)?
A3: Your VIN is the unique identifier specifically for your vehicle. This is the number your Department of Motor Vehicles uses, your insurance company uses, and we use to be able to distinguish your vehicle. The My Owner's Manuals search uses your VIN to identify the appropriate documents for your vehicle. You can find your VIN on your insurance card, vehicle registration card, dashboard, or driver-side door jam.
Q4: My search is showing I have no matches. What should I do?
A4: Make sure everything in your search is spelled correctly. If your search still comes up with no matches, try using different terms or broadening your search. If you are using a phrase search, make sure your phrase is simple.
You may also need to validate your VIN. The My Owner's Manuals search is customized to your vehicle specification. Only with a valid VIN can we supply you with the correct information for your Toyota. To update your VIN, go to UPDATE PROFILE and click on the MY VEHICLES tab. Click on EDIT to make the appropriate changes and then click UPDATE to save.
Q5: Why am I getting search results, but I can't open the documents?
A5: A5: You'll need Adobe® Reader® to view or download the search results. You can download Adobe® Reader® for FREE from the search results page.
Q6: What is the Dealer Locator and why am I being referred to a dealer?
A6: Online manuals are available for 1996 to current model years. If you need assistance with a Toyota that is a 1995 or older model, the My Owner's Manuals feature will refer you to the Dealer Locator. Your Toyota Dealership can help answer questions you may have.
Q7: Are my results printable?
